How Can I Become A Member?

You do not need to own a Samoyed to become a club member. Complete a Samoyed Club of Austin, Inc. membership application. Your application must be signed by two (2) club members in good standing. If you do not know any club members you are welcome to attend a meeting or make arrangements to meet up with our members at a dog show site, etc.

There are four (4) types of memberships:

Individual - open to all persons 18 years of age and older.
Family - open to all persons 18 years of age and older and their minor children or minor dependents residing in the same household. There may be no more than two (2) voting members in any family and these members must be 18 years of age or older. Votes are non-transferable among family members.
Newsletter-only - open to all persons 18 years of age and older. Newsletter-only members shall not vote or hold office in the club.
Lifetime - given to club members with twenty (20) consecutive years of club membership in good standing. Lifetime members have the same privileges as individual members but are not required to pay club dues.

Mail your completed and signed membership application, along with a check for the appropriate membership fee, to the name and address on the bottom of the application.
